You’ve conquered the slopes, your legs are burning in the best way possible, and now it’s time for the other great tradition of mountain culture: après-ski.
Après-ski — French for “after skiing” — is the beloved ritual of unwinding after a day on the mountain. And at Trailblaze Slopes, we take it seriously.
Start by swapping your boots for something comfortable the moment you’re off the hill. Tight ski boots after a long day are nobody’s friend. Get into the lodge, warm up by the fire, and let yourself decompress.
Food is central to the après experience. Think hearty, warming dishes — a bowl of chili, loaded nachos, or a steaming mug of soup. Our on-site kitchen keeps the comfort food flowing well into the evening.
Then there are the drinks. A classic hot chocolate, a spiced cider, or something a little stronger — the choice is yours. The atmosphere in our lodge is relaxed and welcoming, with live music on select evenings to keep the energy going.
Don’t overlook recovery either. Stretch out those quads, rehydrate, and if you’re staying overnight, a hot bath or soak goes a long way. You’ll thank yourself in the morning when you’re ready to do it all again.
